Standard Douala port clearance via the CAMCIS electronic system typically takes 3 – 7 working days for compliant, pre-documented shipments. Delays most commonly arise from incomplete BIVAC pre-shipment inspection certificates, missing HS code declarations, or DGD (Dangerous Goods Declaration) discrepancies. CamLogix prepares all documentation at origin to target a 3-day clearance cycle for our clients.

On our Express tier, parcels collected at Buea HQ before 12:00 noon are dispatched on the same-day line-haul run and arrive at Douala by 17:00 – 18:00 WAT — a 4 to 5-hour corridor. Standard line-haul (booked after noon) departs the following morning and arrives in Douala by 10:00. Delivery to final recipient addresses in Douala adds approximately 2 – 4 hours for last-mile dispatch.

Yes. Once your shipment arrives at Douala and a CamLogix waybill is generated at intake, you can track its full journey — port clearance status, inland transit checkpoint, and last-mile delivery — via our package tracking online portal at /track-shipment. Enter your unique CMLX waybill number to see a live visual milestone timeline. SMS updates are pushed automatically via MTN and Orange gateways at every custody handover.

Standard documentation for Cameroon imports includes: Commercial Invoice & Packing List (signed by supplier), Bill of Lading or Air Waybill, BIVAC Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (mandatory for goods above $2,000 CIF), an Import Declaration (DI) filed via CAMCIS, and a Certificate of Origin where applicable for preferential tariff treatment. CamLogix assists with all documentation preparation at origin to prevent clearance delays at Douala.

Yes. Our Douala–Yaoundé express delivery service runs daily departures Monday through Saturday from the Douala Port Terminal. Transit time on the 240 km Douala–Yaoundé highway corridor averages 4 – 6 hours depending on traffic conditions near Edéa. Parcels booked before 09:00 WAT at Douala are typically delivered in Yaoundé the same afternoon. Both SME commercial cargo and individual parcel services are accepted on this route.

LCL (Less-than-Container Load) consolidation means your cargo shares container space with other clients’ goods — ideal for shipments under 15 CBM where paying for a full container is not cost-effective. FCL (Full Container Load) dedicates an entire 20ft or 40ft container to your cargo, offering better security and faster clearance for larger volumes. CamLogix manages both through our Guangzhou and Dubai consolidation partners, with Douala port clearance coordinated end-to-end from our Akwa District terminal.
